I don't think you can "make" amazement happen...but I can say that God likes nothing better than when bring him an authentic, honest heart to say that we aren't getting it, aren't "feeling" it. He wants us to ask. I'm no spiritual guru, but I honestly believe that if you ask for amazement with a humble heart, He would delight to amaze.
